The Hand Cut Yagyu bokken is thin, light, and fast. At 40" in length, it's one of the most elegant bokken designed for quickness and finesse—specific to the Yagyu Shinkage Ryu but often used in other practices where contact with other wooden weapons is less intended to deflect or influence the path of incoming strikes. For practices not requiring a hand guard (tsuba), it's also excellent for those seeking a thinner, lighter weight bokken.
