Beautiful hand cut Iwama bokken in light colored wood with reddish streak on one side of tsuka. Not too light, not too heavy but with distinctive forward balance, this bokken embodies the ideal of the Iwama proportions as determined byMorihiro Saito and interpreted by Kingfisher after many years of collaboration. The inscription reads "kabai", protect or shield.
Optional additional inscription is available on right bevel (adjacent to "kabai'). This might be a great place to put your name in katakana or similar personalization. Contact us for translation or ideas.
