Enhanced Aikido Jo "Munen Muso"

This jo might be the nicest wooden jo ever produced. And we don't say that lightly. Not only is the wood exceedingly dense, its properties have be further improved by the enhancement process, and its color activity is second to none. The pictures don't fully capture the red/ivory speckling and islands of light and dark colors. Its shape is perfect.

None of this would have been possible without a lucky find as wood of this caliber is extremely rare. We see material of this strength and density come across from time to time but when the color aesthetics are this extraordinary, the piece is a one of a lifetime classification.

Notice that Kingfisher doesn't use machine graphics or laser technology shortcuts - the kanji are done by hand with a burning stylus. In this case the inscription clarity is superb and adds to the one-of-a-kind status of this weapon. The inscription reads, "Munen Muso" impassive state of mind.
