Aikiken Medium Bokken "Moku" 6115 in grade L7 Appalachian Hickory Wood with leather tsuba. 40" length, 11" tsuka, 22.6 oz weight.
This bokken has slight drying checks in the handle (tsuka) - which are too small to be photographed but are slightly detectable by feel. This would not affect performance and could easily be filled.
Also, the tsuba glue-up allows for a bit too much give than we would normally allow. This would not be an issue unless the tsuba sees repeated very hard flexing or stress.
Excellent for a practitioner seeking a light use bokken, suburi work or on shomen display.
