At 56" long (+ optional lengths available) and 15/16" or 1" diameter the hiking stick is equipped with a rugged tungsten carbide wear tip for outside use. Now hikers can enjoy a reliable staff similar in design to the classic martial art "jo" staff. This hiking stick, specially designed to be environmentally friendly features a rounded but robust point that will not damage fragile ecosystems and rock formations. The staff itself is made of phenomenally strong Appalachian Hickory. Optional wood upgrade, lanyard and inscriptions are available. The original 15/16" diameter is intended to be light and fast - it has a more slender feel. The new 1" diameter option is thicker and has a medium girth for those preferring a slightly thicker feel.
